Call for Speakers

Thank you for your interest in potentially presenting at the 2025 AIM Conference. AIM 2025 will be held May 4-7 at the Hyatt Regency Resort and Spa in Huntington Beach, CA.

Speaker/Presentation Proposal Process - From October 15 - December 15, we host an open call for session ideas, and also for presenters that would like to speak at AIM. We encourage you to submit your ideas here for full presentation sessions, or volunteer yourself to speak on a topic if a spot opens up.

Here are the to types of speaker proposals we are requesting:

1. Stage Presentations - these opportunities are typically proposed to groups that focus on a particular business challenge or opportunity, and can present detailed case information or analysis to support sharing their solutions with the audience. These sessions are showcased on our stages, and have full audio-visual support and we request the use of visual presentation materials. We expect 100-300 people or more to attend. We support these sessions with public speaking coaches who host three online sessions to hone, outline and prepare the material as well as rehearse its delivery. These topics are evaluated on:

  • Business impact and importance and timeliness
  • Wide-scale applicability
  • Novelty

In 2024, we received approximately 95 submissions for 22 stage speaking spots, from almost 1,100 attendees.

2. Informal Roundtables - roundtable sessions are held throughout the conference at breakfast, lunch and sometimes in between. These can be more informal, personal opportunities to attract a group of people who are interested in the same thing, to catch up on shared projects, to share results from ongoing research or to ask for help. Roundtables do not have audio-visual support, and are not supported by our coaches. These groups are smaller, and may typically draw 5-30 attendees.
